يعتبر علم الكيمياء من أهم العلوم الأساسية والمحورية وذلك لما له من ارتباط وتأثير على كافة العلوم بحيث يشكل المحور الأساسي ويتداخل مع مختلف العلوم الأساسية والتطبيقية مثل البيولوجيا والطب والفيزياء إضافة إلى دوره في حياتنا اليومية وتأثيره الرئيسي في البيت والغذاء وسائر أمور حياتنا اليومية .

لقد أخذ قسم الكيمياء على عاتقه ومنذ إنشائه في كلية الرياضيات وعلوم المادة كأحد الأقسام الأساسية توفير التكوين والمعرفة الحديثة في العديد من مجالات الكيمياء.

كما حرص قسم الكيمياء على ضرورة المشاركة الفعالة مابين كافة مكوناته من طلبة وأساتذة لإرساء روح التعاون المتبادل والمستمر مابين الجميع للوصول بالقسم إلى أرقى المستويات على مستوى جامعة قاصدي مرباح حيث نسعى باستمرار لتحسين العملية التعليمية وتحديث المختبرات وإمدادها بالأجهزة العلمية ونحن نمضي قدما في مزج العملية التعليمية والأبحاث الكيميائية .

أخيرا فإن قسم الكيمياء وبكافة منتسبيه يرحب بالتواصل المجتمعي وبتقديم إمكانياته لخدمة جامعتنا و المنطقة والجزائر بشكل عام.
